Do edits affect the original recording file?

No, edits made in the Local Editor are non-destructive until you explicitly export or upload the recording.

The original captured footage is preserved and your edits are stored as instructions applied on top of it. You can discard edits and return to the original at any point before committing. This is useful if you make a mistake during editing or decide to take a different approach to trim points or zoom areas.
