Common questions

Is Desktop Recording free?

Yes. Desktop Recording is included in the Sirvez free tier with no time limits and no watermarks. You can record your full screen or a selected region as often as you need without paying anything. The free tier also includes audio capture, the floating controls overlay, and the 3-second countdown timer. The only features behind a Pro plan are advanced editing tools and watermark-free embeds — recording itself is always free. Full answer →

Can I record multiple monitors?

Sirvez captures one desktop display per recording session. When you start a Desktop Recording, you choose which screen to capture from the browser's screen-picker dialog. If you have a multi-monitor setup, select the display you want — only that screen will be recorded. Switching between monitors mid-session is not supported; you would need to stop and start a new recording to capture a different display. Full answer →

Does Desktop Recording capture system audio?

Yes. System audio from your desktop applications is captured automatically when you select Desktop Recording mode. You can also enable microphone audio at the same time, capturing both your narration and any sounds from on-screen applications. If you need a silent recording, you can turn off all audio sources before starting. Audio source selection is available in the extension settings each time you begin a new session. Full answer →
