Frequently asked

Is Sirvez secure?

Yes, Sirvez is SSL encrypted and Cloudflare protected, and your recordings are private by default because they are stored locally first.

Capture and editing run against your browser's local storage, so nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to upload it. That local-first design keeps recordings private to you until you decide otherwise.

If you do upload to the Sirvez Media Center, you can lock the share page with SHA-256 password protection (verified client-side) on any tier, so only people with the password can watch. Sirvez is also GDPR compliant.

Quick reference

SSL encrypted, Cloudflare protected, private by default (local-first), optional SHA-256 password on share pages.
