Frequently asked

What is the difference between Tab Recording and Desktop Recording?

Tab Recording isolates a single browser tab and captures only that tab's content and audio.

Desktop Recording captures your entire display, including all visible windows, applications, and system elements. Tab Recording is cleaner for browser-based demos because notifications, taskbars, and other applications are completely excluded. Desktop Recording is better when your workflow spans multiple applications — for example, when you need to show switching between a browser and a spreadsheet in the same video.

Quick reference

Tab: browser only, isolated audio. Desktop: full display, all apps, system audio.
