Frequently asked
What permissions does Sirvez need?
Sirvez needs Chrome's screen-share permission so it can capture a tab, your whole desktop, or your webcam, plus microphone access if you want to add narration.
When you start a recording, Chrome shows its own prompt asking you to choose what to share, and you can add the microphone and webcam only when you want them. Recordings are stored locally in the browser via IndexedDB and are private by default, so capture and editing work offline without sending anything anywhere.
Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to. Cloud upload to the Sirvez Media Center is optional and user-initiated, and Sirvez is GDPR compliant, SSL encrypted, and Cloudflare protected.
Quick reference
Chrome screen-share (tab, desktop, or webcam) plus optional microphone. Recordings stay local and private unless you upload.
