Common questions

How long does it take to upload a recording?

Most recordings are available via a shareable link within seconds of clicking Upload. Processing time depends on file size and your connection speed — a standard 5-minute screen recording typically uploads in under 15 seconds on a normal broadband connection. Longer recordings at higher resolutions may take a minute or two. Sirvez uses Cloudflare R2 storage, so once uploaded, the video is served globally via CDN without any additional processing delay. Is there a file size limit for uploads?

Upload limits depend on your plan. The free tier includes 1 GB of total cloud storage, which comfortably accommodates a significant number of typical screen recordings — a standard 10-minute screen recording at typical quality is usually well under 200 MB. The Pro plan increases storage to 50 GB. Individual file size per recording is not separately capped; it counts against your total storage allocation. Full answer →

What happens when I reach my storage limit?

You will receive a notification when your storage is approaching its limit. At that point, you can delete older recordings from your Media Center library to free up space, or upgrade to the Pro plan for 50 GB of storage. Recordings you have already uploaded and shared remain accessible via their existing links until you explicitly delete them. You cannot upload new recordings once the storage limit is reached without either deleting existing files or upgrading your plan. Full answer →
