Frequently asked
Sirvez won't record my screen, how do I fix it?
If Sirvez will not record your screen, the most likely cause is that Chrome's screen-share permission was denied or no tab or desktop was actually selected to share when the prompt appeared.
Try the fixes in order of likelihood. First, the screen-share prompt: Chrome asks what to capture each time, so grant the permission and make sure you select a source, choosing the tab for tab recording or the whole desktop for desktop recording before confirming. Second, a previously blocked permission: if you dismissed or blocked sharing earlier, Chrome can keep refusing, so re-allow screen sharing for the extension and try again. Third, reload the extension so it starts cleanly and re-requests access.
If it still will not start, close other tabs or windows that may be holding a capture session, restart Chrome, and confirm you are running it on a desktop operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux, or ChromeOS), since Sirvez is a Chrome extension rather than a mobile app. Once capture begins you will see the 3-second countdown before recording starts.
Quick reference
Grant Chrome's screen-share permission, select a tab or the desktop in the share prompt, reload the extension, then restart Chrome if needed. Capture starts after a 3-second countdown.
